Sarah Howells, from the ABC Radio Brisbane, speaks with The University of Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation researcher Professor David Jordan would like to see Ethiopia's food production flourish in the future.

Professor Jordan has been getting his hands dirty working on a Plant Breeding Program that has been recognised by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The program has received a $3.8 Million grant to evaluate and improve breeding programs in the developing world.
